Maker's mark of Johannes Schiotling, Amsterdam, 1787
Rectangular, on four pierced shell and scroll feet, with pierced floral lattice frieze and beaded border, fitted with two circular silver holders pierced and beaded to match, with cut-glass bottles mounted with silver collars, the inkpot with hinged cover, the sander with detachable pierced cover, also fitted with a candlestick with spool-shaped socket engraved with rosettes, with beaded borders
