The carved agate figure of a bloated dwarf with long beard, diamond eyes and calibré-cut ruby epaulettes and front section, his helmet forming the lid chased with trelliswork to the rope-twist handle terminating in foliage, on agate base overlaid with repoussé work and ruby detail, late 19th century, with brown leather fitted case, 11.3 cm. high
