Featherbanded in ash and crossbanded overall, the later rectangular cavetto cornice above a pair of quarter-veneered and double featherbanded arched panelled doors enclosing a fitted interior of pigeon-holes and drawers around a niche, above a bureau section with double featherbanded writing-slope enclosing a fitted interior of pigeon-holes and drawers above a well with a slide, with two short drawers above two further short and two long drawers, on later shaped bracket feet, restorations and replacements in the 19th Century
