VIÑA CASA SILVA
Founded in 1892, Viña Casa Silva is a family owned winery, now run by the fifth generation. They maintain turn-of-the-century traditions, successfully combining these with the most ultra-modern technology. All 830 hectares of vineyards are located in the Colchagua Valley, a narrow region between the Andes and the sea. However, it wasn't until 1997 that the family decided to bottle and market their wines under their own name. In May 2000 Casa Silva was awarded "Best South American Producer 2000" in the International Wine and Spirit Competition in London, and it's Reservas have already collected a plethora of trophies and medals, in advance of their release into the US market.
