TURKEY FLAT
Fourth generation Barossa Valley viticulturist Peter Schultz and his wife Christie commenced the Turkey Flat wine business with the purchase of the historic vineyard in December 1987. Named after the wild bush turkeys that roamed the land, these vineyards boast 153 year old Shiraz and aged Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and Semillon vines that produce wines which are fruit driven and literally made in the vineyard. The varietal wines below are 100 while the Butcher's Block cuvée is 50 Mataro, 16 Shiraz and 34 Grenache and the Rosé is 61 Grenache, 23 Shiraz and 16 Cabernet Sauvignon.
