An international style icon; Created by the visionary Max Schubert in 1951 and named after Grange cottage at Magill Estate, it has been regarded as Australia's finest and most consistent wine in quality and reputation for at least 30 years. A multi-district blend of the best Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon (usually less than 8, matured in millions of dollars worth of the best new small American oak barrels for 18 to 20 months and released on to the market as a five-year-old. Grange has led the way in building a strong international image for Australian wine.
