A ROMAN GOLD AND BLUE GLASS NECKLACE
Circa 2nd-3rd Century A.D.
Composed of seven crescent-shaped pendants, graduated in size, each with an inverted pyramidal stack of granulation at each end, all with a fringe of beaded wire and a short cylindrical suspension loop with beaded wire at each end, the central pendant with a fringe of punched ornament and a spherical suspension loop, strung with eight tubes with beaded wire at each end and six plain tubes, together with twenty-eight spherical blue glass beads and six barrel-shaped amber glass beads
