The hoop a stout wire, round in section, with tapering ends formed into a Herakles knot and then coiled back around the shoulders, the knot joined to an oval box set with a garnet, the flat oval stone engraved with an eagle with upraised wings standing on a groundline, a palm branch angled over one wing
