THREE ROMAN GOLD AND BRONZE FIBULAE
Circa 2nd Century A.D.
The largest of cross-bow type, ornamented with a sheet gold caps for the knobs, a granule in the center, and along the bow, with diamonds and clusters of granulation along its length, outlined by chasing, and stacks of granulation along the edges; together with two gold bow fibulae, each with bronze hinges and pins, the foot coiled at the end, with clusters of granulation on either side of the bow, one set with blue glass in an oval box framed by beaded wire
