A Meissen (Marcolini) dark-blue-ground cup and cover
ogee sided, with entwined branch handle and branch finial, possibly painted by J. G. Loehnig with a nymph and admirer among clouds, the cover with crossed extinguished torches, within gilt panels suspended from bows issuing leaves and flowers, blue crossed swords marks, and star, painted 4, circa 1780 (minor chip to finial light rubbing) -- 9.5cm. high
