etchings, 1748-60, from the set of 137, all Hind's very rare first states except H. 16, 18 and 58 (which are second state), each print where listed by Robinson in his state A, from Hind's contemporary Roman Edition BIb printed before 1778, before the address of Bouchard and Gravier, fine, lightly bitten impressions, some with watermark single encircled Fleur-de-Lys (H. 1), with margins, the usual central folds, Plates 7 and 53 with the vertical crease partly split at the bottom, Plates 34-5 and 49 with a short tear at the lower sheet edge, some foxing and discolouration mainly at the sheet edges, otherwise generally in very good condition, 27 plates tipped onto guards at the central fold on the reverse, and three loose in 18th century paper-covered boards with gilt title on leather spine, some scuffing, other defects(album)
