TWO CORINTHIAN BLACK-FIGURED VESSELS
Circa Early 6th Century B.C.
One an alabastron with a swan facing left with its enormous wings outstretched, a petalled rosette on the base and mouth, small rosettes in the field, vertical lines on the neck and a row of dots on the rim, details in added red; and one an amphora with a band on the body with a goat facing a lion, a swan behind them, the field filled with dots and rosettes, with thin bands above and below, tongues on the shoulder, zig-zag on the neck
