embroidered with nine gilt dragons against a ground scattered with red Shou characters and bats amongst cloud scrolls densely worked in silks, with a turbulent sea-wave border below, the borders and cuffs of midnight blue satin similarly worked, mid 19th century, (relined, sleeves shortened, collar added)
