woven with precious objects amongst cloud scrolls and embroidered with butterflies, prunus blossom and chrysanthemums, the borders worked with flowers in 'three blues' silks; an informal jacket of blue satin applied to collar and borders with ribbon and plaited gilt braid, the ivory satin sleevebands worked in Peking Knot; a fan with blue silk case embroidered in Peking Knot; a blue silk tobacco purse with Peking Knot flowers and fruit; and four kingfisher feather hair ornaments, applied with coral, simulated pearls and paste beads, late 19th/early 20th century
