engraving, 1945, on wove paper, signed (?) in red crayon and inscribed 'e.e' (apparently one of only two trial proofs aside from the unsigned book edition of 1,050; there were also twenty signed impressions in the de-luxe edition), printed by Lacourière, Paris, with margins, one small foxmark at the lower right corner, some minor discolouration mainly in the margins and on the reverse, old tape at the upper reverse sheet edge, otherwise generally in good condition
