A rare pre war Dinky Toy/Modelled Miniatures cast steel Hand Mould for producing the hollow-cast lead first type 3e Newsboy Figure, 1932
first type large running figure, with rolled newspaper in right hand and bundle tucked under left arm, comprising two-section mould, with later factory alteration to mould with Dinky Toys Meccano Made in England stamped into base, with entry-holes at feet and relief blow-hole through top of head, and third section locating with pair of bayonet fixings, incorporating pouring well with three holes leading into casting (G, third section from another Dinky Toy hollow-casting mould, probably 3c Male Hiker, with two pouring holes for legs and one for walking stick, bolts added)
