drypoint, circa 1902, on Van der Ley laid paper, second (final) state, with the signature, a fine impression, with burr, signed in pencil, numbered 30/50 (M. & S. record seven trial proofs, presumably in the first state) published by L' Estampe Nouvelle, Paris, with their stamp in the plate (L. 886), with margins, a deckle edge at the bottom, slightly unevenly trimmed at the left, a tiny perforation in the upper and lower right margin, a short diagonal crease at the upper margin corners, further soft handling creases mainly visible in the margins, taped to the mount at the upper left and right sheet edges, generally in very good condition
