Will you see [your liberties] thus trampled on; will you see your Shiping taken, & your Inhabitants draged to prison, by a set of Infernal Pirates?...If, I say, Americans, look with Content and submit to this treatment, then farewell to all Greatness; America once the Wonder of the World, will be the Scorn & Sneer of every Nation.
