Carved as a crouching figure with elbows on knees and hands to the sides of the cheeks, the coiffure carved as prominent vertical ridges between raised horizontal bands, carved ribs to the small body, large feet, the slightly waisted cylindrical mortar above with gourd stopper and wood stick secured with hide strap, glossy patina
