A 'Girl in a Swing' gilt-metal-mounted bodkin-case Circa 1750, attributed to the St. James's factory of Charles Gouyn
Naturalistically modelled as an asparagus spear and coloured in shades of green and pink, made in two sections with gilt-metal mounts at the join, the foot of the case painted with a spray of three pink flowers
5¼ in. (13.5 cm.) long
