Two Derby pigeon-tureens and two covers
Circa 1765
Naturalistically modelled as nesting birds, their beaks, eyes, neck ruffs and plumage picked out in pink, black, brown and shades of mushroom, the nests applied with leaves, ears of corn and grasses picked out in yellow, green and brown and the lower parts basketweave-moulded (one cover restored, other cover and both bases with slight chips)
