The slightly waisted funnel bowl engraved with the crowned Royal Arms of England above scroll ornament, the multi-knopped stem with beaded and inverted baluster sections, on a conical foot

Lot Essay

The Royal Arms of England as used from 1714 until 1801 were more than likely in this instance engraved in honour of King George II as father of Princess Anne of Hanover who married Prince Willem IV of Orange in 1734.
