In 1953 Ford announced their all new Anglia and Prefect models. The design for these cars followed the modern unitary design of the larger cars in the range. The 1,172cc side valve engine produced 36bhp at 4,400rpm giving the car a top speed of 70mph.

This charming post war car, known as Jumbo (because of the registration number!) has the very low mileage of approximately 23,000. It is in exceptionally original condition and complete with its tool-kit and paint touch-up kit. It remained with its first owner until 1987 and following its sale, has stayed within the same family.

A large amount of spares for this car are available and may be purchased privately from the vendor of this motor car. They include an engine, wheels and tyres, steering boxes, gearboxes, brake drums, cylinder heads, etc. A full list is available from the Christie's office
