A Brussels (Ferriere la Petite) chicken-tureen, cover and fixed stand
Circa 1755
Naturally modelled with its head to the left resting on its side, with pink comb and wattle, yellow beak and yellow and manganese speckled plumage with pink markings, seated with chicks and eggs at its feet on a shaped oval stand with a blue feuilles-de-choux border within a yellow and pink moulded rim (front and left side of stand broken through and repaired, cover with minor chip to flange)
