Circa 1755-60, managanese three crescents B to base and three crescents - to cover
Painted in grand feu colours, the veilleuse of squat baluster form with a shaped rectangular aperture at the base and painted with scattered flower-sprays, each side applied with a tulip and a rose, the bowl moulded with a flange below the shell-moulded handles and two applied roses, the shallow domed cover with scattered flower-sprays about a rose finial with leaf terminals (slight chipping to flowers, veilleuse with slight restoration to three petals, chip to footrim with associated crack from aperture to underside, bowl with small areas of restoration to handles, rim and flange, cover with slight fritting to rim, crack from finial to rim and two restored rim chips)
