A Böttger saucer, three Meissen saucers and a Ludwigsburg lobed ornithological saucer
The Böttger saucer circa 1720-22, Dreher's / to footrim, the Meissen saucers circa 1735, 1755 and 1765, blue crossed swords and various marks, the Ludwigsburg saucer circa 1760, blue crowned interlaced C's, impressed 3 and ICF
The Böttger saucer painted in eisenrot with a woman driving a cart through a landscape, within concentric lines and gilt band border (extensive wear to gilding), the second with birds in flight above flowering shrubs, with turquoise-ground reverse and brown line rim (broken through and repaired, small area of restored replacement to rim, hairline crack from rim), the centre of the third with a loose bouquet within a shaped yellow-ground gilt diaper border edged with gilt scrolls suspending flower-sprays, gilt dentil rim (restored rim chip, areas of slight wear), the fourth with a huntsman on horseback by a tree in a river-landscape, gilt dentil rim (small rim chip, some wear to gilding), the Ludwigsburg saucer with birds perched in a tree within an ozier-moulded border with insects, gilt line rim (chip to underside of rim, crack to well, extensive wear to gilding) (5)
