A Strasbourg bullet-shaped teapot and cover
Circa 1765
The handle and short curved spout formed and painted to simulate branches, the handle's upper terminal issuing trailing branches applied with flowers and foliage, each side painted with bouquets of flowers including roses and convolvuli, the shallow domed cover with carnation finial, brown line rims, green footrim and flange (small areas of restoration to finial, slight chipping to flowers and foliage, minute fritting to edge of cover, spout and handle)
