A Frankenthal group of Hercules and Omphale
Circa 1770, incised St mark
Modelled by J.W. Lanz, with the seated bearded god scantily draped in a gilt flowered russet cloth looking up to Omphale standing at his side, her arm about his shoulders, holding his club and draped in his fur-lined robe, Cupid draped in blue to their right, standing before a tree on an oval mound base edged with gilt scrolls (broken and restored through lower part, damage and restoration to figures and tree)
