An unusual [?]19th-Century Islamic armillary-astrolabe,
the 4½-inch (11.4cm.) diameter celestial globe at the centre with graduated equatorial and ecliptic and constellations depicted by beasts and figures, held within six concentric rings arranged to rotate alternately through the horizontal and vertical planes, the outer ring fixed, each variously graduated on both sides, the first with Arabic characters, the second with Arabic numerals and the subsequent rings with zodiacal signs, with signed throne and suspension loop -- 21in.
