the printed enamelled paper dial inscribed The Pneumatic Timer Patd.. June 15th 1875, the sweep hand reading over the scale 0-60 minutes, with subsidiary dial calibrated 1-8, the nickel-brass mechanism contained in a purple plush-lined leather case with gilt decoration, overall length -- 5¾in. (14.6cm.)
