An early 19th-Century brass and ferrous metal model single cylinder table engine,
with brass cylinder 1½in. bore x 3in. stroke mounted on a metal floor supported by decoratively pierced frames, centrally mounted valve chest with separate steamways, eccentric and rocking lever operated valve with barrelled rod and links, crosshead running in vertical guides supported on floor mounted pierced frames, strapped, wedged and bolted little ends, barrelled connecting rods, bolted big ends, rope driven Watt governor, linkage and valve, rope pulley and spoked flywheel (some old damage, some pieces missing) wooden plinths and base. Measurements overall -- 17¼ x 22in. (43.8 x 55.8cm.)
