An 18th-Century brass German universal equinoctial ring dial,
unsigned, possibly by Georg. F. Brander, the meridian ring with sliding suspension loop, engraved on one side with a scale divided in two quadrants, the other side with declination scale 0°-90°, the pivoted equinoctial ring with hour scale I-XII (x2), the inner edge with hour/minute scale, the bridge with calendar scales and sliding pin-hole sight, contained in the original red stained chamois-leather lined etui --45/8in.
