An exhibition standard 7mm finescale two-rail electric model of the LNER Class A3 4-6-2 locomotive and tender No. 2750 Papyrus,
built by J.R.Brierley of nickel silver with external details including fluted motion, cylinder drains, brake and sanding gear, fine riveting and pipework, oil boxes and pipes, scale cab and backhead fittings, centre cylinder valve actuating lever, steps, hand and lamp irons and lamps. Tender details include water cocks, firing irons, lamp, tank vents, lifting rings and filler cap, brake gear, pick-up scoop, steps, hand and lamp irons, unpainted -- 3¾ x 19in. (9.5 x 48.3cm.). Electrified showtrack with plates engraved 'Working O gauge Model by John Brierley' and 'Awarded Silver Medal and the H C Wheat Challenge Cup for the best 'O' gauge Model 1975 Model Engineer Exhibition' and 'Gresley A3 Pacific No. 2750 Papyrus' and 'Co-holder of the World Record for non-streamlined steam locomotives 108mph 1935'.
