A 2½in. gauge model of the GNR Class C1 4-4-2 locomotive and tender No.251,
with brazed superheated copper boiler with fittings including provision for pressure gauge, water gauge, safety, blower, whistle and clack valves. Chassis details include twin outside cylinders with inside Stephenson's link reverse, mechanical lubricator, eccentric driven feed pump and bypass, the tender with details including hand feed pump, coal bunker rails and steps (some old minor damage), finished in GNR livery (some minor paint loss) --7½ x 30in. (19 x 76cm.)
