A 19th-Century wood, cast iron and brass probably patent model of an American horse drawn manual fire pump,
with cast iron wheels, turning lock, wooden body with twin single acting pumps, suction and delivery connections, compression dome, hose reel mounted in front of the front axle with quick release, bell, mirrors, four brass ended wooden bars, hose (later), branches, lamp and other details, finished in red, black and polished brightwork (some loose pieces and some pieces missing) -- 38½. x 18¼in. (97.7 x46.5cm)
