The case with faceted handle and acorn handles to the top, fluted pilasters to the angles, with florally engraved side panels, plain rear door, on bun feet, with foliate scroll engraved mask to a recessed silvered dial with Roman chapter ring and subsidiary seconds at VI, with foliate scroll engraved centre, gilt hands, the single chain fusee pocket watch movement with plain gilt three arm balance to the lever escapement, signed on the backplate Barrauds Cornhill LONDON and BATH H+HAWKINS
