With glass eyes; the right forearm and the orb carved from separate pieces of ivory.
Minor cracks; several fingers and toes replaced.

This ivory is closely comparable to an ivory figure of the Infant Christ illustrated in R.H. Randall, Jr., Masterpieces of Ivory from the Walters Art Gallery, London, 1985, p. 316, no. 478.
