$5, 1852-D VF-35 (PCGS). Exceptional surfaces for the grade with light yellow gold. As typical of authentic examples of 1852-D, there is some striking weakness at the centers.
From a mintage of 91,584 coins, one of the more generous of the Dahlonega Mint. This offering of coins from the S.S. Central America treasure provide something for almost any interest and budget.
