Important 1848-O Eagle
Unusually High Grade
$10, 1848-O AU-53 (PCGS). Bright light yellow gold retains most of its original mint lustre. Somewhat softly struck as is typical for this very scarce issue, made all the more rare by its very nice state of preservation. Bearing only the lightest indicia of circulation and choice within its assigned grade, this New Orleans rarity will most assuredly see spirited bidding.
