$10, 1851-O AU-58 (PCGS). Bright lustrous medium yellow gold with satiny fields. A lovely specimen of this New Orleans issue, one that is very rarely seen this fine. Tiny nick below eye noted for identification. A beautiful specimen that retains the brilliance of the California gold it was struck from in New Orleans even after its return to the gold fields.
