Further details
This is the single finest example among three from the S.S. Central America treasure graded by PCGS. Date logotype heavily impressed, 5 "closed," date nicely centered horizontally and vertically, left edge of lower serif of 1 over left side of dentil. O mintmark lightly impressed and frail in appearance, considerably closer to tail feathers than to denomination, tilted slightly right, and placed slightly left of center of N below. Crossbar of A in STATES broken at left, a faint vestige being all that remains.
