Die notes: Obverse die style as preceding, but from a different portrait punch and with date 1855. On the coronet the engraver did not plan ahead, and KELLOGG & CO is too wide, with the final O in the hair. Date from four punch applications, well aligned (in contrast with the preceding 1854) and reminiscent of the federal product. Italic 5's. o Reverse from the identical die as preceding.
