A NEW GUINEA PANEL AND A TAMI ISLAND BOWL
Of lenticular form, a mask carved in relief with raised oval eyes and mouth, conical chin below, painted reddish brown, white and black, pierced for suspension, the back inscribed: L2/127 Neu Guinea A.K. S/1; and a Tami Island bowl of lenticular form, raised stylised figures carved in relief to each side of the rim, a mask in relief to one end, inscribed: Tami-I. Slg. Häberle.
