A set of twenty lacquer bowls and covers
late 19th century
decorated to the interiors of the covers in gold, black and slightly coloured lacquer in hiramakie with scenes of retreats in mountainous, pine-strewn landscapes, pavilions, bridges and shrines on nashiji grounds, the cover exteriors with scattered pine on hillsides, the bowl exteriors lightly decorated with pine amongst rockwork -- the bowls 4¾in. (12cms) diam, wooden containers.

On the Friday one week after the sale, a transfer and administration charge of £17.50 per lot will be payable and a storage charge of £3.00 per lot per day will then come into effect. These charges are payable to Cadogan Tate and are subject to VAT and an insurance surcharge.
