drypoint, 1918, on laid paper, a very good impression with a rich burr, presumably a trial proof aside from the total edition of 50 (unrecorded by Hofmaier), published by Karl Lang, Darmstadt, 1920, with margins, a short tear to the upper left sheet edge, some soft creases, scattered fox marks mainly in the margins, remains of old tape to the upper sheet edge verso, otherwise generally in good condition
