The nickel plated movement jewelled to the centre with gold alloy balance, stamped under the balance 72C with a shield containing an R, the matt silvered dial with dot five minute indexes, outer date ring with central date hand, apertures for the day and month, subsidiary dials for running seconds and elapsed minutes and hours, sweep centre seconds operated by two round buttons in the band, in typical case with chamfered bezel and screwed back, maker's leather strap and gilt buckle, case, dial and movement signed
