Two Continental deadbeat escapement models, one mounted on a circular brass plate with simple steel feet and the other on a D-ended rectangular plate again with simple steel feet, both first half 19th. century; a gilt-brass micrometer calibarated 0 to 360 with a finely made blued steel hand, the base engraved Micromertre, inventé par or pas Paul-Garnier divisant depuis 3m. jusqu'à ¼m. en 360°, dated 1837; and a French brass model of equation and calendar work, with annular year calendar and cam wheel operating on a rack system, with elaborately pierced and engraved ormolu and blued steel hands (4)
