The dial with roman chapter ring and inner minute markers, later blued steel hand, the centre engraved with flowers and stylised foliage with central rosette and engraved face above VI, signed below XII Thomas Pace at The Croune in Fleete Steete, the frame of typical design with columnar angles supporting urn finials with pierced brass frets, the front fret pierced and engraved with addorsed dolphins within foliage, the movement with re-converted escapement with large steel balance wheel and verge escapement, countwheel strike on bell above, the back-plate with steel hoop and spurs
