A VICTORIAN SILVER FOUR-PIECE TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE WITH PLATED TRAY
Maker's mark of Henry Holland, London, 1854
Comprising: coffee pot, teapot, cream jug, and open two-handled sugar bowl, the baluster form bodies raised on four scroll feet, the bodies chased with foliage and rocaille and centering two cartouches, one with an heraldic emblem, the pots with scroll spouts with foliate joins, and hinged domed covers with floral finials, all with scroll handles, the modern silver-plated two-handled tray raised on four scroll feet, the border with scrolls and shells, the surface lightly engraved with foliage.
The coffee pot 10½in. (6.5cm.) high; the tray 27½in. (70cm.) across handles; gross weight 82oz. (excluding tray). (5)
