A VICTORIAN SILVER POCKET DIARY**
Maker's mark of Walter and John Barnard, London, 1881
Of rectangular form, one side with Japanesque design with birds, bamboo shoots and prunis with geometric shapes, the other elaborately etched with flowers, and a border of leaves, all centering a cartouche with the initials "AMP", the interior fitted with slots for cards and with ivory pages marked with the days of the week.
